A very rare needle case in the shape of a baby in swaddled clothes circa 1750. Finest quality hand painted and gilt Meissen porcelain with a gold run metal mount and lid. Blue crossed swords mark under glaze. Height: 3 inches (7,6 cm). Very good condition, only some minor gold loss.
